Chase Headley reached base 4 times, driving in 3, including a 2 run homer and a double as the Yankees got a much needed laugher 14-1 win over the Royals.

Nori Aoki got on base 4 times, scoring 2, driving in 2, stealing a base and homering as the Giants came from behind to top Milwaukee 8-4.

Drew Hutchinson pitched a brilliant 4 hit, no walk, 8 strikeout, 6-0 complete game shutout of the White Sox in Toronto.

Carlos Martinez blanked Arizona over 7 shutout innings, striking out 8 along the way. The bullpen would blow his lead but the Cardinals would walk off 3-2 winners in the 10th.
