Madison Bumgarner threw a no hitter into the 7th and finished with 7 1/3 shutout innings, allowing just 2 hits, 1 walk and struck out 6 Padres for the 2-0 win in San Francisco.
Jordan Schafer reached base 4 times, doubled, scored 2 and drove in 2 as the Twins came from behind to beat Oakland, 8-7.
Hector Gomez became the first batter to ever triple and homer off of Clayton Kershaw in the same game, sparking lowly Milwaukee’s shocking come from behind, 4-3 win over the Dodgers.

Dallas Keuchel tried to extend the Astros winning streak by pitching shutout ball into the 8th. He would finish with 8 innings, 1 run and 8 strikeouts and get a no decision as Texas won in the 9th, 2-1.
Tyson Ross pitched well over 7 innings, allowing only 2 runs and keeping the Padres in the game. But Bumgarner and the Giants would prevail, 2-0.
Stephen Vogt got 3 hits including a first inning grand slam and a double and drove in 5 in Oakland’s 8-7 loss in Minnesota.
Addison Russell got 2 hits, including a homer, in the Cubs 10-9 loss to the Cardinals.
