Earning 1/2 WOBs in losing efforts.

Chase Anderson held the Dodgers to 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 7 in 6 shutout innings. He would get a no decision as the Diamondbacks fell 1-0 in 13 innings.

Nolan Arenado was part of a strong Rockies attack, going 3-5 including a pair of homers and 3 RBI. It wasn’t enough as San Diego won 8-6.

Nathan Karns pitched five shutout innings, allowing 2 hits and 1 walk. The Rays bullpen would not be effective, however and Baltimore won 4-2.

Seth Smith singled, doubled and tripled, scoring a run in the Mariners 7-6 loss to red hot Houston.
